How To Stay Active When You Work From Home

Staying active when you work from home can often seem like an impossible task; trust me, I know how daunting it can seem trying to find some time in your day to either go for a jog or go to the gym - which is why I don't do either of those things.

 

 

I have opted for the classic 'at home workout'.

 

Why? Well...

 

  1. You don't have to spend 10 - 15 minutes driving to your local gym or class - saving you time.

  2. You don't have to endure the coldness of the wether when you jog (I live in England and it's constantly COLD - at least I am anyway...)

  3. You get to stay at home! And if you're like me - that probably means you're already in your yoga pants or jogging bottoms, so we're already half way there...

I personally love Blogilates and Yoga With Adriene.

 

Blogilates is an awesome youtube channel hosted by the bubbly Cassey Ho, a certified fitness instructor and all round bad ass. You should definitly check out her channel if you like super fun workouts that do the job; MAKE. YOU. SWEAT! Her workouts are super fun and I never feel like I'm actually working out when I do a video - it's crazy! Cassey is super encouraging and one of my favourite series that she does it her 5 Minute series!

 

They're awesome if you're in a rush or don't have much time in the day. I like to do a 5 Minute video for every hour that I work, that way, it keeps my creative juices flowing and before I know it I've got half an hour of fitness for the day in! A playlist to her 5 Minute Workout series is below! In this series Cassey tackles Abs, Legs, Arms, Bums and then a video for EVERYTHING.

 

Another one of my favourite fitness channel on Youtube is the lovely Yoga With Adriene! As you have probably guessed, it's everything Yoga - which I absolutly LOVE. If you have a problem, there's a good chance that Adriene has a video for it - with videos such as 'Yoga For Beginners', 'Yoga For Concentration & Mental Focus', 'Yoga For Weight Loss' and my all time favourite 'Yoga For Bedtime', there's probably something for everyone on her channel, of all abilities. I'll lave a playlist down below for beginners - we all have to start somewhere!

 

 So friends, that is how I stay active when I work from home! Other activies also include walking my dog, but I don't see that as excersize; it's just fun!
